OmniCenter maintenance release 12.1.1 is now available with the following changes:
Bug Fixes
- Updated Percona database package dependencies to address several MySQL bugs. (This update will cause the database to restart, possibly causing an error message (this message may safely be ignored, but do contact support if the message persists for more than a minute or so). The restart should not last longer than half a minute, and no polling data will be dropped.)
- This update requires specific procedures to be performed on OmniCenters deployed in a high availability configuration. Please contact your Netreo support representative for assistance before updating your HA OmniCenter deployment.
- Fixed a bug where the master in a high availability setup wouldn't automatically start httpd after a reboot.
- Fixed a bug where HA would fail to initialize on upgraded 12.1 systems under certain circumstances.
- Fixed a bug where updating a device to SNMPv3 would then fail to save the credentials.
- Fixed a bug where the discovery process for VeloCloud devices updates the candidate_engine_log even when an IP is skipped during discovery.
- Fixed a bug in the VeloCloud device dashboard where interface thresholds for jitter and latency were being shown as bandwidth.
- Fixed a bug where threshold check values set by a device template were being rounded up to the next 10 value when being displayed (e.g. 25 becomes 30).
- Fixed a bug where the Looking Glass to would return an error upon being run with any command on any device.
- Fixed a bug where VeloCloud interface statistics were being displayed in the wrong order on the device dashboard.
- Fixed a bug where the memory used by the vce_metrics_pol process was not being freed when that process was killed or restarted.
- Fixed a bug where VeloCloud interface status in OmniCenter would not match the status in the orchestrator under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug where after a VeloCloud device was added to OmniCenter, all subsequently added devices would be added as the VeloCloud VCE type.
- Fixed a bug where VeloCloud device interfaces were not being discovered in OmniCenter.
- Fixed a bug in the Validation column of the Device Management dashboard where Devices Not Validated and Devices Disabled would both show a count of 1 when there were no devices in either state.
- Fixed a bug where open an open incident for a device would not be automatically closed if that device is deleted.
- Fixed a bug in device templates where if the SNMPv3 privacy algorithm is set to “None,” the supplied credentials would not be applied to the devices affected by the template.
- Fixed a bug where failed devices in the Interrogation dashboard failed to show updated status dates.
- Updated the Interface List report to include asynchronous interface speeds.
- Fixed a bug in the IPTel map where pins would show raw HTML on mouseover, instead of correct data.
- Fixed a bug in maintenance windows where scheduling a one-time window via the device would produce a DataTables error and fail to schedule the window.
- Fixed a bug in category administration where when editing devices in a category, an administrator in a user partition would see no devices for selection even if there were devices assigned to that partition.
- Fixed a bug with the Real-time Histogram page where the graph would not work if the device is using SNMPv3.
- Fixed a bug in site administration where when editing devices in a site, an administrator in a user partition would see no devices for selection even if there were devices assigned to that partition.
- Fixed a bug in the VeloCloud device dashboard that caused interface statistics to be displayed in the wrong places in the tables.
- Fixed bug in Overview Administration where clicking the Link to Overview button would produce a “Not Found (#404) Page not found.” error.
- Added missing link to Device Template Administration page for configuring device templates for functional groups.
- Fixed a bug in the package update code where the script that updates the ownership and permissions of all RRD files could potentially change the ownership and permissions of all items in the wrong directory if the associated device has a space at the end of its name, causing the system to misbehave.
- Fixed a bug in device administration where changing a device name would allow illegal characters to be entered into the name field. Now only alphanumeric, period, underscore and dashes are allowed in the device name field.
- Fixed a bug in the OmniCenter user management system that allowed users set to the “admin” access level but within a user partition to view menu items and options that should not be available inside of their partition.
- Fixed a bug in the device dashboard where resizing the textbox of the Note field in the Host Information display could break the page formatting.
- Fixed a bug in the custom dashboard configuration page that caused browser page scrolling to malfunction is there were more than 12 dashboard widgets in the ADD WIDGETS list.
- Fixed a bug where configuring a remote collector would create the configuration flat file on the OmniCenter system instead of the remote collector system.
- Fixed a bug where remote collector service engines could not be deleted from OmniCenter under certain circumstances.
